Let’s face it, modern Australians are increasingly time-poor. The constant juggling of responsibilities means that some things fall by the wayside. A common example of this is exercise.

In Australia currently, 1 in 12 children are obese (8%), and 1 in 4 adults are obese (28%). This trend is an example of the modern Australian not prioritising health & fitness for themselves and their children. Longer work hours and a growing trend of inactivity among both adults and children is alarming.

Prioritise Your Health

There needs to be an emphasis on every Australian adult getting AT LEAST 30 minutes of activity each day. The Department of Health says adults aged 18-64 should accumulate 2.5 to 5 hours of moderate intensity physical activity or 1.25 to 2.5 hours of vigorous activity each week. Children should accumulate at least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity every day.
